Hair grows on everybody, all over the body including the face, and its purpose is to protect the skin. Most hair growth is fine and can be downy in appearance, but on certain areas of the body hair growth is thicker and darker.
Hair on the head, pubic area and chin (for men) is perfectly normal and often forms part of our image or unique identity. Unwanted hair usually refers to visible hair growth that is not considered by the owner, to be pleasing to the eye.
