Thread Veins
Also known as ‘spider veins’ or ‘surface veins’, thread veins can develop on both men and women of any age. They are most commonly known to affect the legs, feet and back, as well as on the face when associated with another common concern – Rosacea.
The appearance of thread veins shows small, thin, red or purple strands close to the surface of the skin. They can develop as a singular fiber, or as part of a cluster that forms a network of strands that look similar to that of a spider’s web – hence the name.
