Tired Eyes
Tired eyes are a common condition that people usually experience as a result of ageing or lifestyle. As we age, the hollows beneath our eyes become more pronounced as the skin starts to lose elasticity and volume.
In addition to this, the skin beneath our eyes is thinner than that of the rest of the face, and the veins beneath the eyes can become apparent giving us a tired appearance.
Collagen and elastin are two proteins naturally found in the skin, and as we age the production of collagen and elastin begins to deplete leaving us with skin that is less hydrated and loses its ability to ‘bounce back’, therefore leaving us with skin that may require some assistance to maintain its youthful state.
